Perform Wheel Alignment Check - Ar40.20-D-0200H

MODEL 906 

MEASURING Measure     
1 Observe general information on chassis alignment   AR40.20-D-0201H 
2 Drive vehicle on to measuring system IMPORTANT The measuring system must be approved by Mercedes-Benz.  
3 Insert brake pedal jack between brake pedal and driver seat NOTES Use the SPECIAL TOOL brake pedal jack carefully. The driver seat can otherwise be damaged.
IMPORTANT You only need apply slight pressure to the brake pedal.

4.1 Move gearshift lever to "neutral" position For vehicles fitted with a manual transmission  
4.2 Move selector lever to "P" position On vehicles with automatic transmission  
5 Lower window of driver door IMPORTANT Lower the window for the steering angle routine, get out of the vehicle and close the driver door.
IMPORTANT The vehicle must not be loaded again.
 
6 Attach universal quick-clamp holder    
7 Fit on measuring heads    
8 Compensate rim runout    
9 Unlock turntables    
10.1 Determine front-axle level using electronic When measuring with electronic inclinometer. inclinometer

10.2 Determine front-axle level through actual front-axle load In the case of measurement without an electronic inclinometer.  
11 Determine vehicle level through damper dimension MODEL 906 except all-wheel drive AR40.20-D-0200-05H 
MODEL 906 with all-wheel drive AR40.20-D-0200-05HA 
IMPORTANT The vehicle level has to be determined to enable the caster and steering axis inclination to be measured.  
12 Carry out initial measurement IMPORTANT During the initial measurement, the actual suspension data such as camber, toe, steering axis inclination, caster and toe-out angle are determined.  
13 Check and adjust camber and caster at front MODEL 906 with CODE XL7 (Weight axle variant 4050 kg) AR40.20-D-0322M
