Remove/install power steering radiator - AR46.25-P-3020W

MODEL 172 with ENGINE 276

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000V
2 Remove front engine cover (2)    
3 Suction off oil from expansion reservoir (16) NOTES The area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly before opening the hydraulic system. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system.  
SPECIAL TOOL Hand pump Figure
4 Loosen clamp (3) and detach return line (4) from power steering radiator (1). IMPORTANT Collect escaping oil with a rag and plug line connections.

5 Loosen clamp (5) and detach hydraulic line (6) from power steering radiator (1). IMPORTANT Collect escaping oil with a rag and plug line connections.

6 Remove bottom engine compartment paneling at front   AR61.20-P-1105W
7 Disconnect electrical connector on outside temperature sensor (B14) and remove corresponding electrical line (14) from the lower air duct (7)    
8 Remove lower air duct (7)    
9 Lower vehicle    
10 Remove radiator cover (8)    
11 Remove upper air duct (9)    
12 Open bracket (10) and unhook refrigerant line (11)    
13 Lift cooler (12) together with condenser (13) and move toward rear    
14 Raise vehicle with vehicle lift   AR00.60-P-1000V
15 Unclip power steering oil cooler (1) from mounts (15) on condenser (13) and remove downwards.    
16 Install in the reverse order    
17 Fill power steering pump and bleed   AR46.30-P-0010V 
18 Check oil level in expansion reservoir (16) and correct if necessary   AP46.00-P-4611V
