COMPLAINT
When rotating the Dynamic Select controller past the "Slippery" drive program (snow flake icon), the Off-Road drive program will be displayed within the instrument cluster and COMAND screen.
NOTE:
For non 4-Matic vehicles, this drive program should not be available.
CAUSE
Incorrect coding within transmission control unit.
REMEDY
SCN code the transmission control unit.
NOTE:
There is no need to reprogram or update the transmission control unit with newer software. Only SCN coding is required.
