INCREASE speed 

The vehicle's speed is increased by increasing the drive torque. The following activities are started in this case:

• Increase engine torque

  The engine management system implements the "Increase engine torque" request.

• Shift down a gear and upshift if necessary (vehicles with automatic transmission)

  The transmission management system implements the "Shift down gear" or "Upshift gear" request.
