	Notes on removal/installation of windows		AH67.10-P-1000-02RT
	Remove
1	Open window of the driver's door.	The window of the driver's door must remain open during the curing time of the adhesive material. This prevents the triangular side window (1) from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when a door is closed.
2	Remove all C-pillar trims of the corresponding C-pillars.		AR68.30-P-4491LWV
3	Unclip trim piece (2) from the triangular window (1).	The new triangular window (1) is delivered with the attached trim piece (2).

4	Protect area around the triangular window (1) against damage with suitable tape.
5	Lay cutting wire behind the sealing lip on the adhesive material.
6	Secure triangular window (1) with suitable tape against falling down.
	Risk of injury  from cutting wire tearing or becoming hot and from splinters of glass when cutting out bonded windows	Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.	AS67.00-Z-0004-01A
7	Cut out triangular window (1) with cutting wire and remove.	Aid of helper required. Cut mounting clips (3). Always replace triangular side window (1).
	Install
8	Prepare window frame.		AR67.30-P-0005-04LWG
	General notes about painting the body flange in the glazing area	The bonding area must be free of dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease. When damaged to a degree of ≤ 10 % it is possible to repair with primer stick. If damage is > 10 % the window frame must be coated with primer filler. Otherwise corrosion damage may occur. Use only primer filler and primer sticks approved by Daimler AG.   Use only repair kit specified in EPC.	AH98.00-P-9408-06A

9	Apply cleaner (activator) in the bonding area on the triangular window (1) and rub dry with a dry cloth.	The bonding area must be free of dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease. Use only repair kit specified in EPC.
10	Apply primer in the bonding area of the new triangular window (1).	The primer must flash off for at least 10 min. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease. The bonding area on the new triangular side window (1) must be free of dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease. Only the repair kit specified in EPC may b used.
11	Apply adhesive material to new triangular window (1).		AR67.30-P-4000-07LWS
	Notes on handling adhesive	Install triangular side window (1) within 10 min after applying adhesive material to body flange. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material may be decreased. Use only repair kit specified in EPC.	AH67.00-P-1000-01A
12	Insert new triangular window (1).	Observe manufacturer's specifications for curing time of adhesive material. Perform following work only after curing time.	AR67.30-P-4000-08LWS
13	Install all C-pillar trims of the respective C-pillars.		AR68.30-P-4491LWV
14	Close window of the driver's door.
	Clean
15	Clean triangular window (1), adjacent paint surfaces, and vehicle interior.
