TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

NOTE: Whenever tire pressure has been adjusted, the TPM system must be reactivated. New tire pressure sensors are automatically detected after the vehicle has been stationary for at least 20 minutes, then driving for at least 10 minutes. Automatic sensor detection (teach-in) can also be performed using OEM diagnostic software.

If the warning light is on and multifunction display shows a message, immediately check air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. Reactivate TPM system. Drive vehicle for a few minutes to ensure malfunction has been corrected.
