Ensure use of the following versions of XENTRY Diagnosis/XENTRY DAS:
Use BD/DVD (07/2017 ) + add-on 7946 and 8400 or

BD/DVD (09/2017 ) + add-on 8399 or

higher XENTRY Diagnosis/DAS version.
Please make sure to follow the operation steps exactly as described in XENTRY/DAS.
Use a battery charger to ensure sufficient power supply of the vehicle on-board electrical system battery (greater than 12.5 V).
If XENTRY/DAS is already connected to the vehicle, start with operation step 2.
If two or more software updates or SCN codings are performed during one workshop visit, the operation items 02-4762 and 02-5058 can only be invoiced once for each workshop order!

Connect XENTRY/DAS.
Update transmission control unit software.
To do so, select menu item "Control units view - Drive type - VGS transmission control - Adaptations - Control unit update - Update of control unit software".

Then follow the user guidance in XENTRY Diagnosis/DAS.
Disconnect XENTRY/DAS.
