Remove/Install Fuel Pressure Sensor - AR07.04-P-0030OLD

ENGINE 651 in MODEL 166, 205, 253

  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install

Detach exhaust gas recirculation cooler and place with attached coolant lines to one side

Engine 651 in model 205, 253 AR14.20-P-7665OLD
2 Unlock and unplug electrical connection (1) on fuel pressure sensor (B4/7) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that electrical connection (1) is correctly engaged on the fuel pressure sensor (B4/7).  
3 Unfasten clamp (2) and detach fuel hose from fuel pressure sensor (B4/7)    
4 Remove screw/bolt (3) and take off fuel pressure sensor (B4/7) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, water outlet to charge air distributor *BA20.10-P-1006-01X 
5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory and delete if necessary    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Engine 651 in model 166 AD00.00-P-2000-04A
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Engine 651 in model 205, 253 AD00.00-P-2000-04B
  Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Carry out an engine test run and check fuel system for leaktightness
