| 1 | Connect diagnostic system and read out variant coding for FSCU (6) | ||

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Remove trunk partition | AR68.50-P-3000RG | |
| 4 | Remove rear panel trim (4) at cover (1) and place to one side | AR68.30-P-4750RG | |
| 5 | Remove connecting member for B-pillar (3) and place to one side | ||
| 6 | Remove screws/bolts (2) and remove cover (1) | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connections (5) | ||
| 8 | Unscrew nuts (7) and remove FSCU (6) upwards | *BA47.10-P-1003-01N | |
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 10 | Attach diagnostic system and activate the FSCU (6) | ||

The FSCU (6) must be activated. Malfunctions will otherwise occur. |
