SERVICE INFORMATION

WORK DESCRIPTION FOR FIELD MEASURE 

Code 773 corresponds to AMG CARBON PACKAGE EXTERIOR.

In vehicles with code 773,  perform work procedure A and B! 

In vehicles without code 773, only  perform work procedure B! 

WORK PROCEDURE A

For vehicles with code 773!

1. Replace rear apron (A, figure 1 (bumper lower section)).

   For basic data, see AR88.20-P-2100FRX.

WORK PROCEDURE B

• Ensure use of XENTRY Diagnosis version  BD/DVD (03/2019)  or higher.
• Before starting any work procedure, install all the add-ons that are updated daily  in XENTRY Diagnosis. 
• Please make sure to follow the operation steps exactly as described in XENTRY Diagnosis.
• Use a battery charger to ensure sufficient power supply of the vehicle on-board electrical system battery  (greater than 1 2.5 V).

  If two or more software updates or SCN codings are performed during one workshop visit, the operation items 02-4762 and 02-5058 may only be invoiced once for each workshop order! 

1. Connect XENTRY Diagnosis.
2. Perform SCN coding in rear switch module (HSM) control unit.

   To do this, select menu item "Quick test view - N38 rear switch module (HSM) - Adaptations - Control unit update - Update of SCN coding".

   Then follow the user guidance in XENTRY Diagnosis.

3. Disconnect XENTRY Diagnosis.
