Location
The power window motors are located on the respective front door or rear door.
Task
The power window motors actuate the window lifters and thus facilitate the opening and closing of the side windows.
The position of the respective window lifter and thus of the side window is detected by evaluating the current ripple factor of the power window motors.
Depending on the vehicle, the signal evaluation and actuation is realized by the respective door control unit.
