Model 217 and 222

Ensure use of the following versions of XENTRY Diagnosis.
Use BD/DVD (09/2017) or higher XENTRY Diagnosis version.
Please make sure to follow the operation steps exactly as described in XENTRY Diagnosis!
Use a battery charger to ensure sufficient power supply of the vehicle on-board electrical system battery (greater than 12.5 V).
If XENTRY Diagnosis is already connected to the vehicle, start with operation step 2 .
If two or more software updates or SCN codings are performed during a workshop visit, the operation items 02-4762 and 02-5058 can only be invoiced

once for each workshop order!

Connect XENTRY Diagnosis.
Update ES electric power steering control unit software.
To do so, select menu item "Control units view - Suspension-ES electric power steering - Adaptations - Control unit update - Update of control unit software".

Then follow the user guidance in XENTRY Diagnosis.
Disconnect XENTRY Diagnosis.
