Ignition Off, Function - GF07.10-D-1002HD
ENGINES 651.955/956/957 in MODEL 906
ENGINES 651.940 in MODEL 639.6/70
with CODE (XZ1) Model generation 1
with CODE (MZ0) Blue EFFICIENCY
Function requirements
- Circuit 87 ON
- Circuit 15 ON
General
For "circuit 15 OFF" first the engine and then the engine control function in the CDI control unit (N3/28) are switched off.
Function sequence
If the CDI control unit receives the signal "circuit 15 OFF" via the circuit 15 relay (K40/9k8), the engine is switched off by cutting out the following components:
- Fuel pump with fuel level sensor (M3/5) (for model 906) or fuel pump with fuel level sensor (M3/3) (for model 639)
- Cylinder 1 injector (Y76/14)
- Cylinder 2 injector (Y76/15)
- Cylinder 3 injector (Y76/16)
- Cylinder 4 injector (Y76/17)
- Pressure regulator valve (Y74/5)
- Quantity control valve (Y94/3)
In this way the rail pressure is reduced and the computer run-on is started. The computer run-on period is determined by the CDI control unit and lasts about 4 s. It can, however, last for several minutes due to various functions (such as On-board Diagnosis (OBD), Drive Authorization System Stage 3 (FBS 3), thermal management). If the computer run-on has ended, the engine timing circuit 87 relay (K40/9k7) (for model 906) is switched off and therefore the engine timing is switched off.
System tests are conducted by the CDI control unit during the processor run-on period and the fault memory is updated.
