| 2 | Remove engine trim panel | ||
| 3 | Remove belt drive cover | ||
| 4 | Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter housing and turbocharger cooling duct | ||
| 5 | Take off poly-V belt | AR13.20-P-0001GQA | |
| 6 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling | Model 166.0 | AR61.30-P-1001GQ |
| 7 | Detach cable bracket from holder (3) | ||
| 8 | Remove screw/bolts (1, 2) and bracket (3) | *BA09.40-P-1008-01P | |

| 9 | Disconnect contact protection and detach electrical line screw connection (4) from alternator (G2) | *BA15.40-P-1001-01Q | |
| 10 | Unplug electrical connector (5) from alternator (G2) | ||
| 11 | Loosen stabilizer bar at the front left and push away to the rear | ||
| 12 | Remove screw/bolts (6) and pull alternator (G2) downwards and out | *BA15.40-P-1004-01Q | |
| 13 | Install in the reverse order |
