General
The convenience feature (CF) includes the functions "convenience opening" and "convenience closing". In this connection, all side windows are simultaneously and centrally opened or closed from a control point.
In vehicles with a sliding sunroof or panoramic sliding sunroof, the sliding sunroof is also opened or closed.
Function requirements
- Window lifter normalized.
- Sliding sunroof normalized (vehicles with sliding sunroof or panoramic sliding sunroof).
Function
The convenience feature can be triggered by various control elements or functions.
Activate convenience feature

Transmitter key not in vehicle interior. Doors closed. Transmitter key authorized. | In the case of convenience opening, the seat ventilation is activated in vehicles with seat climate control. With version coding it is possible to set whether the seat ventilation is activated for the driver seat only or for both front seats. |
| Sensor surface on outside door handle (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO) Convenience closing: Actuate sensor surface on outside door handle until the respective end position is reached. |
Circuit 15 OFF. Doors closed. Transmitter key authorized. | The actuation takes place for at least 2s or for as long as the sensor is actuated, max. however for 90 s. If a different central locking command is triggered, the system ends the action. If the door handle is pulled during convenience closing or max. 2s afterwards, KEYLESS-GO activates the emergency opening function. All components are then opened again. |

Circuit 15 ON. | In the case of convenience closing, the position of the components is saved beforehand. During the subsequent comfort opening, these previously stored positions are restored. |
