| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove fuel tank (10). | AR47.10-P-4100MFG | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from fuel pump (M3). | ||
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) from fuel tank fuel level indicator fill level sensor, left (B4/1). | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect fuel line (3). | ||
| 5 | Seal exposed openings with suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Remove fuel line (3) from fuel tank (10). | ||
| 7 | Remove locking ring (4). | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Lift upper section (5) and carefully place to one side. | Replace flange seal (6). |

| 9 | Release retainer of swirl pot (7) in fuel tank (10) by pulling upward (arrow A). | ||
| 10 | Carefully slide swirl pot (7) in direction of arrow (arrow B) out of bracket (8) and remove together with upper section (5). | ||
| 11 | Cover exposed opening with a clean rag. | Ensure scrupulous cleanliness. Fuel system will otherwise be damaged. |

| 12 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 13 | Read out the fault memory and delete if necessary. | ||
