Task
The KEYLESS-GO control unit is connected to the network architecture of the vehicle. The functions of the KEYLESS-GO control unit are integrated in the electronic ignition lock control unit in a model-dependent manner.
The KEYLESS-GO control unit and/or the KEYLESS-GO control in the electronic ignition lock control unit controls the following functions:
- KEYLESS-GO start
- KEYLESS-GO (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO)
- HANDS-FREE ACCESS (vehicles with HANDS-FREE ACCESS)
For the implementation of the functions, the KEYLESS-GO control processes the following information among other things:
- Signals from the transmitter key or the Digital Vehicle Key (vehicles with vehicle access and drive authorization via mobile phone)
- Signals from the KEYLESS-GO antennae
- Signals from the sensors in the door handles (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO)
- Signals from the rear switch module for HANDS-FREE ACCESS (vehicles with HANDS-FREE ACCESS)
- Circuit status
- Service brake, status
- Status of central locking
- Status of start/stop button
The KEYLESS-GO control processes this information and transmits, among other things, the following information and requests via the network architecture:
- Convenience feature request
- Convenience feature direction
- Show messages request
