Remove/Install Gasoline Particular Differential Pressure Sensor - AR07.04-P-0025RFM

Engine 274 in model 253

WARNING Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove center exhaust system.   AR49.10-P-7283RF
3 Unclip temperature sensor upstream of gasoline particulate filter (B163/4) from retaining clip (1).    
4 Disconnect electrical connection (2).    
5 Unscrew nuts (3). Engine 274 in model 253.353/953
with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system)
 
6 Unclip retaining lug (4) and press cable duct (5) to one side. Engine 274 in model 253.353/953
with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system)
 
7 Unscrew nuts (6) at heat shield (7).    
8 Remove heat shield (7) with gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) downward.    
9 Disconnect electrical connector (8).    
10 Unscrew nuts (9). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, differential pressure sensor to bracket *BA49.10-P-1017-02A 
11 Remove click clamps (10) at pressure hoses and remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install new click clamps (10). Position click clamps (10) in original installation position.
SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps

12 Install in the reverse order.    
13 Read out and delete fault memory.    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
14 Perform engine test run and check exhaust system in terms of leak tightness.
