	Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. 	Remove/install
1	Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1).		AR54.10-P-0051S
2	Remove left air filter housing.	: Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.	AR09.10-P-1151SC
3	Remove noise insulation (1).
4	Remove fuel pressure via the service connection.		AR07.03-P-1460-01SC
		Dust protection cap to service connection	*BA07.03-P-1005-01H

5	Disconnect cable tie (3).	: Install new cable tie (3).
6	Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).
7	Thoroughly clean the rail in the area of the fuel pressure/temperature sensor (B42/2).	Ensure absolute cleanliness when working on the high-pressure fuel circuit. Use only lint-free cleaning cloths High-pressure fuel circuit will otherwise be damaged. Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
8	Remove the fuel pressure/temperature sensor (B42/2).	: Replace the fuel pressure/temperature sensor (B42/2). Collect exuded fuel using a suitable absorbent rag. Pressure transducer to fuel distributor	*BA07.52-P-1002-01J

9	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
10	Check fuel high-pressure circuit for leak tightness.		AR07.03-P-1010-04MM
	Risk of burn injuries , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 11	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
