Possible Transport Protocol Layer Conflict And Resolution
- Application A makes a JT 939 connection and claims address 0xF9
- Application B makes a J1939 connection and claims address 0xF9
- Application A starts sending a long transport protocol message to address 0x00 (Engine)
- Application B starts sending a long transport protocol message to address 0x00 (Engine) but Application A's message is still in progress.
The RP1210 API must now know to block sending of Application B's transport message until Application A's message has finished. This conflict can easily occur, especially when the RP1210 API is being used in a Multi-application environment.
