RP1210B And ISO15765 Compatibility Issue

TMC's RP 1210 Update Task Force created an unknown backward compatibility issue with adding ISO15765 to RP 1210B. It succeeded in making the buses "separate" from each other; however it created a problem with an ECU that was sending J1939 PGNs (that ended up being adopted as the "ISO15765 PGNs") and an application that was trying to read them. In short:

• RP 1210B said that VDA vendors should keep the J1939/ISO15765 databuses separate.
• VDA vendors kept the buses separate.
• ECU sends PGNs defined by ISO15765 on J1939 datalink.
• VDA API filters them out of J1939 traffic.
• Application does not see messages
