Other Program Considerations
- Bonuses or payouts must be attainable by all drivers.
- The program must motivate all drivers.
- The program must offer adequate financial incentives. Gifts or vacations are acceptable, too.
- Top performers should earn preferred truck assignments.
- Progress reports must be posted frequently and consistently, and must include a//drivers. Weekly or monthly reports are acceptable.
- Programs should offer:
- MPG Bonus
- MPH Bonus (Based on percent of time travelled under company MPH policy)
- Performance Bonus
- Safety Bonus
- Payouts or bonuses should be based on point system
- Compensation/Averaging for Groups
- Remedial action should be required for all drivers who do not qualify for bonuses.
