Sensor Assembly: Replacement

  1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove instrument panel pad. Remove screws from sensor mounting assembly and cable housing-to-sensor. Disconnect cable end loop from lever arm and remove cable from sensor.
    NOTE: Do not drop screws clown defroster ducts when removing instrument panel pad. Secure control cable with tape or wire to prevent it from falling behind instrument panel.
  2. Remove ambient air hoses from sensor. Disconnect vacuum harness connector and remove sensor assembly from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure.
