Section 179 (Memory Systems): Operation: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Soft stops are set each time the seat track is physically stalled. This is to prevent motor stalling and damage. This feature can restrict range of travel if stall is caused by obstructions.

To recall desired memory position, vehicle must be in Park. Press and release appropriate memory selector switch button. The memory selector switch is located on driver's front door. Driver's seat and mirrors will return to stored position. Radio will have station presets programmed in memory and recall last station selected (even one not preset). Press buttons for .25-5.00 seconds. Do not press for more than 10 seconds. To program memory position to selector switch, see PROGRAMMING MEMORY POSITIONS IN DRIVER'S DOOR SWITCH  under PROGRAMMING. To recall memory positions using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters, press UNLOCK button on programmed transmitter. Up to 4 RKE transmitters can be used for each vehicle. Each RKE transmitter can retain only one of the 2 memory positions. To program memory position to RKE transmitter, see PROGRAMMING MEMORY POSITIONS IN REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM  under PROGRAMMING.
