Control Circuit Test

The starter control circuit components should be tested in the order in which they are listed, as follows:
- Starter Motor Relay - See STARTER MOTOR RELAY under COMPONENT TESTING.
- Starter Solenoid - See STARTER MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTING.
- Ignition Switch - See appropriate STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
- Park/Neutral Position Switch - See appropriate SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
- Wire Harnesses & Connections - See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
