Volume Air Temperature (VAT) Sensor

This sensor is located within the vane airflow sensor. It senses intake air temperature. The PCM uses this signal in calculating fuel metering, idle speed control, and canister purge valve operation. This sensor may also be referred to as a Volume Air Temperature Sensor.
