Check Wire Between Instrument Cluster & ABS Control Module

  1. With ignition switch in OFF position, connect breakout box with adapter to ABS control module connector. Leave ABS control module disconnected. Disconnect 12-pin analog instrument cluster connector or 20-pin electronic instrument cluster connector.
  2. Measure resistance of Yellow/Red wire between breakout box pin No. 17 and 12-pin or 20-pin instrument cluster connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to PINPOINT TEST A8  . If resistance is more than 5 ohms, service Yellow/Red wire.
