Check For Shorts Between ABS Control Module & Solenoids

  1. Connect breakout box with adapter to ABS control module connector. Leave ABS control module disconnected. Disconnect hydraulic actuator assembly connector.
  2. Measure resistance of wires between ground and breakout box pins No. 51 (Orange), No. 32 (Green/White), No. 8 (Green/Red), and No. 6 (Purple).
  3. If resistances are more than 10,000 ohms, replace hydraulic actuator assembly. If resistances are less than 10,000 ohms, service wire(s) in question between ABS control module and hydraulic actuator assembly.
