Engine Identification

This engine is of free-wheeling design with a camshaft in each head, hydraulic valve lifters and 2 valves per cylinder. Combustion chamber is cross-flow with pent-roof combustion chamber and squish area. Main bearing cap is of one piece construction to increase rigidity and reduce vibration.
