Test F: Speed Control Switch Indicator Light Always On Or Off
- If speed control switch light is always on, replace instrument panel speed control switch and retest system. If speed control switch light is always off, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect instrument panel speed control switch connector C262. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 2 (Black wire) at instrument panel speed control switch connector C262. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace instrument panel speed control switch and retest system. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire.
