  1. C1 CHECK CIRCUITS 446 (OG/WH), 447 (OG/RD), AND 1491 (LB/YE) FOR AN OPEN
    • Disconnect: Adjustable Pedal Potentiometer C2090.
    • Disconnect: DSM C341f, C341g.
    • Measure the resistance between the adjustable pedal potentiometer C2090 pins harness side and the DSM pins harness side as follows:
      PEDAL POTENTIOMETER SPECIFICATION

      Adjustable Pedal Potentiometer C2090 DSM (C341g, C341f)
      C2090-1, circuit 446 (OG/WH) C341f-19, circuit 446 (OG/WH)
      C2090-3, circuit 447 (OG/RD) C341f-13, circuit 447 (OG/RD)
      C2090-2, circuit 1491 (LB/YE) C341g-7, circuit 1491 (LB/YE)
    • Are the resistances less than 5 ohms?

    Yes  GO to C2.

No  REPAIR the afected circuit(s). CLEAR the DTC(s). REPEAT the self-test.

  2. C2 CHECK THE ADJUSTABLE PEDAL POTENTIOMETER
    • Measure the resistance between the adjustable pedal potentiometer C2090-2, component side and the adjustable pedal potentiometer C2090-1, component side; then between the adjustable pedal potentiometer C2090-2, component side and the adjustable pedal potentiometer C2090-3, component side.
    • Are the resistances between 5,400 ohms and 3,700 ohms?

Yes  INSTALL a new DSM. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . REPEAT the self-test.

No  INSTALL a new adjustable pedal potentiometer. REFER to BRAKE PEDAL . CLEAR the DTC(s). REPEAT the self-test.
