Driver Seat Module

The power driver seat and power exterior rear view mirrors are controlled by the driver seat module (DSM), only when the vehicle is equipped with the programmable/recall memory option. The remote transmitter sends a signal to the smart entry control (SEC)/timer module to unlock the doors; the signal is then sent to the DSM and the door locks are unlocked. The DSM knows the position of the seat by the position sensors. The position sensors send a signal back to the DSM proportional to the position and reference voltage being supplied.
