The adjustable brake and accelerator pedal memory function utilizes a variable resistor as an adjustable pedal potentiometer. The driver seat module (DSM), applies a reference voltage to the potentiometer. The output voltage to the DSM locates a specific pedal position. When the driver sets a pedal position in the DSM, the potentiometer output voltage is stored in memory. When the driver requests a return to a pedal position in memory, the DSM will operate the adjustable pedal motor until the adjustable pedal potentiometer output matches the voltage stored in memory.
