Removal and Installation
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the 4 transaxle roll restrictor brace bolts.
- To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the bolt and the transaxle roll restrictor brace.
- To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system module-to-EGR system module tube fitting.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the EGR system module tube-to-RH exhaust manifold fitting and remove the tube.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
