Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) SYSTEM MODULE







Exploded View

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the 4 transaxle roll restrictor brace bolts.
- To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

2. Remove the bolt and the transaxle roll restrictor brace.
- To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

3. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system module vacuum tube and electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the EGR system module-to-EGR system module tube fitting.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).







5. NOTE: When installing the EGR system module, install a new EGR system module gasket with the side with the raised ring facing the intake manifold.

Remove the 2 bolts and the EGR system module.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
