Cruise Control Set Speed Indicator

SITUATION

When cruise control is activated, the set speed indicator flashes briefly in the tachometer display, and then disappears.

CAUSE

Instrument cluster coding

NOTE: The digital indication of the cruise control set speed in the tachometer display is available only on vehicles commencing with August 2007 production. Component hardware does not support this feature on earlier production vehicles.

CORRECTION

The problem has been integrated into ISTA diagnostics. Follow system-oriented diagnostics and the relevant test plan using the latest ISTA version.
