12 36 005 Removing and installing/replacing Auxiliary Power Module (APM)

Special tools required:
WARNING:
High-voltage system - danger to life!
WARNING:
The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:
- DE-ENERGIZE THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM
- Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for working with hybrid cars.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Unlock cover (1) and remove.
Release underlying nut from positive wire.
Tightening torque 12 36 9AZ .
Undo screw (2) from grounding cable (3).
Tightening torque 12 36 15AZ .
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 12 36 8AZ .
IMPORTANT:
Earth connection. Clean the following components before reinstalling:
- Clean rear screws (thread/contact surface on head)
- Surfaces on rear retaining tabs
Unlock and disconnect HIGH-VOLTAGE PLUG CONNECTION (2).
Unlock PLUG CONNECTION (3) and disconnect.
Unclip the line.
Unclip line (1).
Open clamp (2) with special tool 17 2 050 .
Detach coolant hose (3).
Raise Auxiliary Power Module (APM)1
Open clamp with special tool 17 2 050 .
Detach coolant hose (2).
Remove Auxiliary Power Module (APM) (1)
FILLING AND VENTING COOLING SYSTEM WITH VACUUM FILLING UNIT
Replacement:
