86 21... Removing Gas Spring Retaining Bracket

NOTE:
Remove gas spring, refer to REMOVING GAS SPRING .
Remove ball pivot, refer to REMOVING BALL PIVOT .
Release screws (1) and remove gas spring retaining bracket (2) from mounting bracket (3).
Installation:
Install retaining bracket so that it is centered in elongated holes.
Tightening Torque: Refer to 86 21 11AZ . See HOOD for specs.
