52 26... Removing and installing outer fold trim

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Trim, fold, outer (pivot bearing): 

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque: 52 26 25AZ .

Pull off release handle (1).

Release screw.

Only for seat backrest frame, left (60 %): 

Push on locking clip (1).

Pull off ball socket.

Installation: 

Gas-filled strut (1) is under tension.

Lever ball socket with screwdriver on pin.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque: 52 26 27AZ .

Carefully tighten follower (2) on seat cushion frame.

Feed trim (1) out of seat mechanism.
