61 31... Remounting the additional seat function operating unit (memory button)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal 

Release all latch mechanisms at the operating unit (1) using a screwdriver (3-mm blade).

Remove the cover (1) from the operating unit (2).

Take the printed circuit board (1) out of the operating unit (2).

If need be, take the keypad out of the center console operating unit (2).

Use a screwdriver (3 mm blade) to release the button's latch mechanism (2).

Pull the button (1) out of the operating unit (2).

Installation 

Join the button (1) into the operating unit (2) and lock it by lightly pressing on it.

If need be, join the keypad onto the printed circuit board (1).

Join the printed circuit board (2) into the operating unit (1).

Clip the cover (1) onto the operating unit (2).

IMPORTANT: Pay attention to the freedom of movement and function of the remounted button!
