Notes For Checking Interference Noise From The Speakers: Notes
The quality of the audio files (music track) plays a major role for the localization of interference noises from the speakers in audio mode. When specific quality requirements for the audio file are not met, the interference can be traced back to these low-quality tracks. Burnt audio CDs or MP3CDs, including third-party USB sticks are not suitable for the localization of the interference noise.
Generally, the interference noise can be localized with the audio track and the data carrier (CD or USB stick) with which the customer complains about the interference noise. It is hereby absolutely necessary to make sure that the audio file has the correct quality.
In general, the following applies:
- The "RED BOOK" standard applies to the audio CDs as described in the section < Original audio CD for audio tests >.
- Do not check the audio files on third-party USB sticks (e.g. customer's USB stick). Therefore, such USB stick is not suitable for troubleshooting. If it is necessary to use audio files from an USB stick, a corresponding USB stick must be created as described in the section < USB stick for audio tests >.
