Operating elements: Notes
The following controls are available:
- Selector lever:
- Each selector lever position is transferred to the gearbox switchgear via Bowden cable from the selector lever position switch
- In selector lever position M (manual mode), the shift commands upshift or downshift are transferred directly to the electronic transmission control unit with operation of the selector lever
- The selector lever position controls the shift-indicator lighting via the selector lever position switch; each drive position is lit up. The engaged gear in the manual mode is displayed in the instrument panel
- The Shiftlock solenoid valve activates the selector lever interlock if the brake pedal is not pressed. The drive position can only be engaged when the brake pedal is pressed.
- Shift paddles on the steering wheel:
- In selector lever positions M (manual mode) D (automatic mode), the shift commands upshift or downshift are transferred directly to the electronic transmission control unit with operation of the rocker switches
