Front (E65)

NOTE:
The camber must be adjusted first. See FRONT (E65) under CAMBER ADJUSTMENT.
- Move steering gear and wheels to straight ahead position. Markings on cap (1) and on housing (2) must match up on steering gear. See Fig 1.
- Loosen lock nut (1) on tie rod, gripping tie rod in so doing. Adjust wheel toe-in by turning tie rod axial joint at hexagon head (2). See Figure. Adjust to specification. See E65 under WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS.
- Make sure steering sleeve is not twisted. Grip tie rod and tighten down lock nut (1) to specification. See E65 under TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
