Steering Angle Sensor: Notes

CAUTION:
The steering angle sensor must be coded if it is replaced. A steering angle offset for Electronic Damper Control/Dynamic Stability Control must then be carried out. Refer to BMW diagnosis program.
CAUTION:
To avoid damaging the contact ring in the steering column when the steering wheel is turned, move steering wheel to straight ahead position and remove ignition key.
