37 15 ... Removing and Installing/Replacing Control Unit For Vertical Dynamics Management

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove ignition key
Disconnect battery negative lead. See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
Remove flap in luggage compartment panel on right. See 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM, LEFT OR RIGHT

Lift back insulating mat (1).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock catches (2) and remove control unit (3).

After installation:

Replacement only: Carry out programming/coding. See CODING & PROGRAMMING
Replacement only: Carry out ride-height-calibration. See 37 12 012 Carrying Out Ride-Height-Calibration
