13 62 560 Removing And Installing/Replacing AIRMASS Flow Sensor (N62)

Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.

Switch off ignition.

Remove upper section of intake filter housing.

Unlock plug (1) and detach.

Release hose clamps.

Pull air-mass flow sensor (2) out of intake hose.

Installation: 

Check sealing ring between air-mass flow sensor (2) and intake hose for damage; replace if necessary.

Installation: 

Check sealing ring (1) in upper section (2) of intake filter housing for damage; replace if necessary.

NOTE: Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Then clear fault memory.
