61 14... Removing and installing/replacing B+ terminal (engine compartment)

NOTE:

HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING - SPECIAL TOOLS

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead

Open cover (1).

Release screw (2). Tightening torque, see 61 12 4AZ in 61 12 AUXILIARY CABLE .

Feed battery positive lead (3) in direction of arrow out of B+ terminal (5).

Release catch (4) with special tool 64 1 020 .

Detach B+ terminal (5) in direction of arrow from holder (6).

Release screw (1). Tightening torque, see 61 12 4AZ in 61 12 AUXILIARY CABLE .

Remove B+ terminal (2) in direction of arrow from battery positive lead (3).
