66 54 005 Removing and Installing/Replacing Control Unit For Night Vision System

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
Remove safety information module. See 65 77 700 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) SAFETY INFORMATION MODULE

Disconnect plug connection (1), press lug (2) downwards and remove control unit (3) from module carrier.

Replacement:

Using BMW scan tool, carry out coding/programming.

NOTE: New component contains a CD with deblocking code.
