61 35 224 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Control Unit For Left Or Right Rear Door

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear door trim panel. Refer to 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

CAUTION: Risk of mixing up plugs for door lock and control unit! Mark relevant plugs prior to removal.

Disconnect plug connections (1).

Release screws (2).

Remove control unit in rear door (3).

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:

Programming.
Coding.
Car & Key Memory.
CD "CIP".
