Adjustment Drive: Notes
The adjustment drive for exterior mirror adjustment is integrated into the exterior mirror. The adjustment drive has the capability to carry out horizontal and vertical exterior mirror adjustments.
NOTE:
The correct installation location can be called up via the hotspot on the diagnosis wiring diagram!
The switch block in the driver's door activates the adjustment drive.
Depending on the version of the exterior mirror, the driver's door switch block activates the adjustment drive via signal lines or the LIN bus.
NOTE:
Observe the diagnosis wiring diagram!
An adjustment drive consists basically of following parts:
- 2-section housing (one fixed and one movable housing section)
- Electric motor with transmission for horizontal adjustment
- Electric motor with transmission for vertical adjustment
